Signed by Lefty Grove. Original postcard, with a depiction of Lefty Grove HOF plaque to recto, printed in yellow and brown. Encased in a PSA DNA certified slab. Very good or better, with some creasing to center of postcard, and a crease to bottom left corner. Overall, a bright, pleasing copy. One of the greatest pitchers in the history of baseball, Lefty Grove played for 17 seasons with the Philadelphia Athletics and Boston Red Sox. He was a 6x All-Star, AL MVP, 2x Triple Crown winner, and won back-to-back World Series titles with the Athletics (1929, 1930). He was also the league leader in ERA for nine seasons, and baseball historian Frank Russo writes, "Normalized for league average and adjusted for home park, [Grove's] 3.06 ERA is quite simply the best in baseball history." Grove was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1947 and selected for the prestigious 1999 MLB All-Century Team. Item #LGR001
