Theodore Roosevelt "Double Duty" Radcliffe (1902 - 2005) was a Negro League star who played for more than two decades, on fifteen different teams. His nickname "Double Duty" was coined by New York writer Damon Runyon, who was impressed by Radcliffe's talent as both pitcher and catcher. Radcliffe appeared in six Negro League East-West All Star games, three times as a pitcher and three times as a catcher, and additionally appeared in eight other All-Star games (twice as a pitcher and six times as a catcher).
