Based on the First Folio edition of 1623, this special edition of As You Like It was published as the fifteenth volume in a series of annual Shakespearian keepsakes prepared for the friends of the publishers. As You Like It is a comedy that tells the love story of Rosalind, the daughter of the banished Duke Senior, and Orlando, the youngest son of Sir Rowland de Boys. Notably, As You Like It includes Shakespeare's now famous line "All the world's a stage" as the start of a soliloquy in Act II, Scene 7.
