Johnny Bench: King of Catchers is a biography of arguably the greatest catcher in MLB history. Bench spent his entire career with the Cincinnati Reds, winning the Gold Glove award ten times and being selected as an all-star fourteen times. Gifted with enormous hands, Bench was famously able to hold seven baseballs in one hand. The book was written by Louis Sabin, author of numerous sports and history books for children and young adults.
