Sheet Music. New York: Leo Feist, 1933. Near Fine.
Publisher's pictorial white wrappers, with an illustration of Alice, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare to the front wrapper, "The Whistlin' Cowboy" to rear wrapper, one inserted leaf. Near fine, with some light rubbing to the extremities. "Alice in Wonderland" is a "Novelty Fox Trot Song" for voice and ukulele that is laden with allusions to Carroll's 1865 novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, including references to the Queen of Hearts, the dormouse, the Mad Hatter, and Tweedledee, among others. Notably, 1932 marked the centenary anniversary of Lewis Carroll's birth, an event which rejuvenated interest in Alice in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
