On a train ride to New York City, Jack Norworth penned in 15 minutes what would become the classic baseball song, "Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Norworth's scrap lyrics were provided to composer Albert Von Tilzer, who composed the music and the song was subsequently published by York Music Company. The song was first played at a high school ballgame in Los Angeles in 1934, and by the end of 1934, it was played during the fourth game of the 1934 World Series. Today, the song is sung during the seventh stretch in every American ballpark.
