Overall, a very good and attractive copy of a lovely story. The Old Farmhouse was originally written in Welsh, under the title Hen D? Ffarm. It embodies the oral story-telling tradition of Welsh culture, and as such was chosen by UNESCO to be translated to serve as a glimpse into both country life in England and this rural art form. Specifically, it is the story of a Carmarthenshire farmer who was born in 1885, and his stories of his grandfather's time. Item #DJW001
