In this book, all-time great batter Reggie Jackson (1946-) and all-time great pitcher Bob Gibson (1935-2020) team up to converse and share their perspectives on a variety of baseball-related subjects. Reggie Jackson won five World Series titles, AL MVP (1973), and was selected for fourteen All-Star games. In the 1977 World Series, he earned his nickname "Mr. October" by hitting five home runs, three of which came off of first pitches in the series clinching Game 6. Jackson won the World Series MVP and Babe Ruth Award that year due to his postseason heroics. Bob Gibson overcame many obstacles, including severe health issues as a child and racial segregation, to become a major leaguer. He played for the Cardinals for seventeen years, picking up nine Gold Glove Awards and nine All-Star selections along the way. Hailed as "one of baseball's greatest competitors" by Stan Musial, Gibson was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 1981 and selected for the prestigious All-Century Team in 1999. Item #BGRJLW001
