In Patagonia Revisited, Bruce Chatwin and Paul Theroux share stories about Patagonia and the famous individuals who traveled there, including Captain Joshua Slocum and the outlaw Butch Cassidy. Patagonia, visited by Magellan in 1520, is a region at the southern end of South America. Beautiful and treacherous, the region has long captured the imaginations of travelers and adventurers. Patagonia Revisited grew out of a joint talk that the two authors made for The Royal Geographic Society. Chatwin and Theroux had previously written seminal travel books on Patagonia, Chatwin writing In Patagonia (1977) and Theroux writing The Old Patagonian Express (1979). This limited first edition copy is signed by both authors, making it a wonderful collector's item, especially for fans of travel writing.
