With handwritten corrections made by Ginsberg to text on pp. 14 and 18. Publisher's pictorial wrappers, with train photo to wrappers, lettered in red, and pink-tinted pages with a train in the background. About fine, with a tiny crease to bottom left corner of front wrapper. Overall, a vibrant copy. Iron Horse is an epic stream-of-consciousness poem from Allen Ginsberg's monumental The Fall of America: Poems of These States, 1965 - 1971. Ginsberg composed the poem on July 22-23, 1966 during a train ride from Oakland to Chicago and bus ride from Chicago to New York, using a portable Uher tape recorded acquired with the financial assistance of Bob Dylan.
