First edition. Signed by Dodgers players on front and rear wrappers: Don Sutton (HOF), Maury Wills, Claude Osteen, Bill Sudakis, Andy Kosco, Willie Crawford, Wes Parker, and Len Gabrielson. Publisher’s wrappers with colored sliding illustration to front wrapper, titles in blue, scorecard inside. Very good with light creasing, scorecard scored in blue pen, with some other markings made in pen and pencil, small strip of tape to top of front wrapper and verso (no repair), touch of soiling to rear wrapper. Overall, a very attractive and bright copy. This Official Program is for a game played between the Chicago Cubs and the LA Dodgers at Wrigley Field on June 3rd, 1970. The Cubs won the game 6-5 thanks to a run in the eleventh inning. The program is signed by a number of Dodgers players from the 1970 team, including Don Sutton and Maury Wills. Sutton, a pitcher known for his remarkable consistency and durability, played for the Dodgers for sixteen years and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1998. Wills won MVP in 1962 and is known as one of the greatest base stealers in MLB history. Notably, Wills stole two bases in this game, in the 8th and 9th innings. Item #1970CCLAD001
