Bound in contemporary full polished tan calf, spines lettered and decorated in gilt, marbled endpapers and pages edges. Engraved portrait of Johnson and facsimile foldouts of Johnson's handwriting. A very good, lightly worn set, spine gilt dimmed, a few small stains to covers, and internally tight and very clean with a few minor scattered spots.
