Presentation copy; inscribed by author in his trademark purple ink. Original publisher's gilt stamped, decorated red cloth. Lightly rubbed to extremities, a few very minor spots, minor repair to front hinge, else a very clean and bright copy. The William E. Self copy bearing his bookplate to front pastedown. House in a fine custom folding box, lettered and decorated in gilt to spine.
