First US edition, first printing. Black cloth over gray marbled boards, magenta dust jacket. Fine book in a very good or better dust jacket with just a few nicks and light rubbing. Black Spring is part of Miller’s seven-volume autobiography, begun with Tropic of Cancer. Like many of Miller’s works, it was first published in Paris. Grove Press was the first to challenge the US ban and publish Miller in his home country.
