First edition, first state. Bound in original publisher's blue-green cloth. Gilt stamping to spine, front cover in blind. Some wear and tear to the spine and boards, small chip to the lower edge of rear board. Stain to lower edge of last several leaves. Front hinge shaken and a former owner's inscription to the front free endpaper. Overall a good copy with a bright gilted spine.
