Presentation copy from the estate of Bolivian mining heiress Countess du Boisrouvray. Signed and inscribed by Hemingway on the front endpaper: 'To Cricri with Love Ernest'. Original orange publisher's cloth. Near fine with a few leaves lightly creased, Brentano's Paris small sticker to rear pastedown, light spotting to edges and endpapers in an unclipped jacket with some chipping to the spine, a short tear on the lower spine panel. Signed copies of this title are very scarce.
